What cookies are

Current site status

This static site uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor allows analytics in the on-site privacy choice. Until then, the Google tag runs with analytics storage denied. If analytics is allowed, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar storage to measure page views, scrolls, outbound clicks, referring sources, device and browser information, and general engagement patterns.

The site does not currently use Google AdSense, newsletter, advertising, or tracking-pixel services. It also runs the browser code needed for navigation, article search, table-of-contents behavior, and the contact-form interaction.

Cookies when advertising is active

If Google AdSense is activated in the future, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and where permitted, personalized advertising. The active vendors and purposes will be listed in this policy and presented through the consent-management interface where required.

Consent and managing choices

You can accept or decline Google Analytics from the on-site privacy choice. The choice is saved in your browser so the site can remember it on later visits. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, personalized Google advertising will only be served through a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework, currently TCF v2.3, where required.

You can also manage personalized Google ads through Google Ads Settings, and participating-company ad choices through YourAdChoices.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you remove or block cookies. Blocking cookies may affect the availability or relevance of some features and advertising. Browser instructions vary, so consult your browser's help documentation for details.
