About the publication
Plant care made more practical.
Potting Journal is an independent English-language gardening publication for people growing in homes, apartments, patios, balconies, and backyards.
We cover the questions that turn up when you are looking at a real plant or a real growing space: why leaves are changing, what a plant needs next, how much light is available, and whether a small garden setup can work.
What we cover
Our first priority is plant care and diagnosis. From there, the publication expands into container gardens, herbs and vegetables, soil, seasonal care, and practical garden design for limited spaces.
How we work
We aim for direct, well-researched guides that explain conditions and tradeoffs. A good article should help a reader make an informed decision, not just repeat a common answer.
Our editorial standards, corrections process, use of sources, and approach to recommendations are published in the Editorial Policy.
